Une famille française
Au Pair - for a family with three children (full-time)
August 2015 — July 2017
Bry-sur-Marne, Ile-de-France, FRANCE

Becoming an au pair has been one of the greatest examples of gaining perspective and stepping out of my comfort zone. We have grown to become a family and I deeply adore what this position has taught me in terms of organization, time management, multitasking, self-awareness, care, kindness, honesty, and being a role model.

ClothingShopOnline
Marketing Intern
January 2014 — August 2015
Los Angeles, CA, USA

Through this internship, I gained an understanding of writing to promote products for a larger company. The freedom of working remotely allowed my creativity to flourish and proved to me that writing is something I would love to do more.

Madewell
Sales / Visual Associate
December 2014 — July 2015
Los Angeles, CA, USA

Taking the job at Madewell was the easiest decision of my life. I love the brand and found that I love the work environment as well. Working alongside strong, empowered women and expressing my creativity within a fashion-based setting was truly wonderful—a turning point for me in understanding where I want my career path to lead me.

Barnes & Noble
Bookseller / Cashier
December 2011 — April 2015
Los Angeles, CA, USA

Is there every anything as memorable as your first real job? I had grown up going to Barnes & Noble on evenings I spent with my father. This was my heaven on earth. I discovered here the importance of working in a setting that means something to me and how much more effective and better I can be at my job when I am surrounded by what I am passionate about.

The Lab Magazine
Marketing Intern
June 2012 — August 2012
Vancouver, BC, CANADA

Finding this internship was the turning point for me. I had a strong interest in magazines, particularly their aesthetic, and while my previous internship taught me about working in a creative field, this internship taught me how much I truly loved working in the crossover between writing, photography, fashion, arts, and culture. Writing an article for the magazine on Le Labo, a perfume company, confirmed my desire to immerse myself in creative pursuits.

Iron Man 2
Art Department Intern with Michael Riva
January 2009 — July 2009
Los Angeles, CA, USA

Learning that I wanted to work in a creative field was thoroughly solidified through this internship. I discovered how happy I was while amongst the many set designers, art directors, and the production designer. This was a space filled with creative people who were enjoying their work and building new worlds that would transport audiences to different places. I realized while interning on this film that I wanted to work towards being an art director and be able to create as a career.
